For the most up to date information on campus transportation, visit the campus Parking & Transportation website. Below are some highlights related to summer options.

CU Boulder is a Gold Level Bicycle University thanks in part to the CU Bike Program’s 14,000 bike parking spaces, two staffed bike stations, partnership with Boulder BCycle bike sharing, and more. Bike registration comes with many benefits and can be done at campus bike stations. Be sure to use a U-lock to deter theft, install front and rear lights for safety, and always wear a helmet.

Buses and Public Transit

CU’s Stampede Buff Bus provides service between Main Campus, East Campus, and Williams Village. Visit the Buff Bus webpage for the summer schedule.

Public transportation is another terrific travel option for Summer Session students. CU Boulder students are eligible for a Student Bus Pass which allows them to ride any of the local or regional buses, the light rail, and the SkyRide to and from Denver International Airport. For more information about how to obtain your student bus pass, visit the CU Environmental Student Bus webpage. The RTD website also offers a great Trip Planner to help you plan which bus(es) you must take to reach your destination.

TIP: Download and use the Transit app to track all local/regional buses including the BuffBus, all in real time with exact ETAs, notifications, and rider alerts.

Car Share

Are you car-less but occasionally need one? There are two carshare programs in Boulder, Colorado: CarShare and Zipcar. Both have special rates for CU affiliates. Visit CU’s Parking and Transportation carshare page for details
