Archibus was decomissioned as the space management system in late 2021 with the implementation of AssetWorks.
Archibus was selected in 2016 to be the designated space management tool for campus to ensure all data and reporting is consistent and in one place, enabling robust study of space utilization.
We use Archibus to store all of our space data for campus, including all of the buildings and rooms on campus, building layouts, room types, which department/unit is allocated to each room, and a variety of other useful data.
Archibus has many other features available to us, including a web interface with space dashboards as well as the ability to do long term strategic space planning
Archibus replaced our previous space management system, FAMIS, when implementation began in 2017 and continued through 2018.
