The Association of American Universities, the American Council on Education, and the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities filed a joint lawsuit in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts along with 13 research universities which are negatively affected by the latest effort from the administration to slash funding for crucial research that helps build a stronger America.

AAU President Barbara R. Snyder released the following statement on the National Science Foundation’s announcement that it will slash the rate at which it reimburses universities for the facilities and administrative costs for NSF grants and cooperative agreements.
