National Laboratory Opportunities for Students

The US DOE laboratories offer many opportunities for internships and fellowships to current and recently-graduated students. Through these opportunities, students can conduct engaging, relevant and important work with top laboratory researchers, and explore potential careers with the laboratories.

NASA Johnson Space Center offers numerous Pathways opportunities in a variety of disciplines, including engineering, IT, mathematics, physical sciences, accounting, business, human resources and public affairs.

  • 2025 Pathways applications will be open from August 14, 2024 through August 21 on USAJOBS.gov.
  • Required Start Date: January 13, 2025. The start date is firm.

  • View step-by-step instructions for creating a USAJOBS profile, building a resume and setting notifications to receive alerts for open Pathways announcements.

Step 3: Apply to a Vacancy Announcement—Visit USAJOBS.gov
