SJ Maxted

SJ Maxted is Deloitte Consulting’s energy transition lead for the mountain west. Her career to date has been spent at the nexus of the public and private sector in energy & climate and this is reflected in her work with utilities like National Grid, the federal government’s U.S. Department of Energy, major capital players like Breakthrough Energy and research institutions like MIT and University of Colorado-Boulder as well as the innovation ecosystem backbone organizations like Greentown Labs, LA Cleantech Incubator and locally Exponential Impact, and Colorado Cleantech. She’s worked with 40+ regions globally on advancing their innovation ecosystem. She also sits on the Master’s in Engineering for Climate at her alma mater Duke University, and is from Durango, CO and lives here in Boulder, CO. She is both a Colorado Cleantech Fellow and Colorado Governor’s Fellow.
