DC Update: The 2026 Federal Research Landscape

Please join Heather Bené, CU’s Senior Associate Vice President of Federal Relations, and Lewis-Burke Associates—a government relations firm based out of Washington, DC that works closely with CU Boulder—for an in-person town hall that will highlight current federal policy and funding trends, White House research priorities, and potential federal opportunities relevant to the CU Boulder community.

  • When: Wednesday, February 18 @ 2–3 p.m.
  • Where: CIRES Auditorium (CIRES Building, Room 338)
  • Who: Faculty, research staff, postdocs, graduate students, etc.

The discussion will span a range of federal agencies, including the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, NASA, and the National Endowments for the Humanities and the Arts, among others.

Lewis-Burke staff welcome an open discussion on federal policy developments, funding opportunities, and issues of interest to participants.
