NIH Proposal Development Support Available

RIO is pleased to offer proposal editing and review services for faculty submitting new R01s, R03s and R21s for the standard NIH due dates.

This free service, offered by James Mazzouccolo, is designed to strengthen the competitiveness of proposals by providing stylistic, structural, substantive and revision editing from the perspective of an educated, non-SME reviewer. Jim reviews all narrative components of the proposal which directly present the case for the research project, which can include supplementary documents intended to support investigator ability and the strength of the resources to be used in the funded project. Ideally an investigator will engage Jim early on (2–3 months before submission) to receive maximum benefit through reviews of multiple drafts.

If you would like to engage Jim for your proposal, please fill out the following form.
