Mehrdad Farhangnia is a medical device veteran with a passion for developing & commercializing novel therapies, resulting in 17 issued US patents. He’s held a variety of executive roles in R&D, marketing and operations in five venture-backed silicon valley medtech companies, three of which were acquired by large strategics. Prior to Track Medical, Mehrdad was founder and CEO of Roxwood Medical, which brought seven cardiovascular products to market, leading to an $80M acquisition in 2017.
Prior to the medtech industry, Mehrdad spent 6 years at NASA Ames as a Research Scientist working on advanced aeronautical simulation collaborations with Boeing & Lockheed Martin. He earned a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from CU-Boulder and is also a proud native Boulderite, having grown up in East Boulder.
