The Center for Communication and Democratic Engagement supports broader impacts by encouraging, facilitating, networking and studying public participation practices. We have expertise in a range of democratic engagement practices, including public deliberation, dialogue, planning exercises, games, the use of tours, citizen advisory boards, international summits, boycotts, buycotts and more as embodied communicative choices that have consequences for our environmental and social justice values and policies.
