What the nominator said about Lynn

Lynn has served CU for over 20 years, and throughout has contributed immensely. Lynn is well known within Venture Partners, across RIO, and throughout CU as an incredibly reliable and knowledgeable team member. “Let’s ask Lynn” has become a not-so-secret strategy that invariably leads to getting things done, not to mention staying in bounds with university practices and policies.
 
Lynn is the Office Manager for Venture Partners, where she seamlessly manages operations, finances, IP transactions and agreements, and other responsibilities including acting as HR liaison for our growing team. She coordinates with our off-campus partners at the East Pearl location and is a partner for all the groups within RIO who reside there.
 
Venture Partners has many hundreds of licensing agreements with startups, established corporations, and other external partners, and Lynn tracks all of them, their responsibilities and financials. She coordinates with our licensing team to execute new agreements, handles external law firm transactions and works with our compliance group on payments. 
 
Speaking of being a “champion”, Lynn was one of the very recipients of Venture Partners “World Innovation Championship” belt, in recognition of her dedication to the university and her impeccable integrity with which she carries all her responsibilities.
