Please share your impact stories

Dear colleagues,

As we engage in conversations with federal and state representatives, peer institutions, partners, students and the public, one consistent thread is the importance of effectively communicating the impact of our work.

It is more urgent than ever that we powerfully convey what higher education contributes through research, creative work and innovation, and through the education and preparation of our students.

To boost our effectiveness, we’ve created a collection form to directly gather impact stories from our faculty, staff and students. The stories can be utilized to advocate for our work, our people and our community.

I hope you will explore the form linked below, then take a few minutes—now or later—to populate the brief questionnaire with a story of yours that is especially compelling. As you share your story of research, scholarship or creative work, please highlight the impact that your work creates in the community, and in society more broadly. We welcome multiple submissions that share different perspectives.

Share your impact stories

I encourage faculty, staff and students to share the impacts of your work to help us better communicate the importance of our research, scholarship and creative work.

(You must have a CU Boulder Identikey to access.)

While much of the work of the university—including our engagement in better conveying the impact of advances that happen only through universities like ours—will continue uninterrupted, I hope spring break brings you some opportunity for relaxation and rejuvenation.

CU leadership remains committed to our mission, our shared work, and to every member of our community. I remain grateful for your continued commitment too.

Regards,
