2022 CCTSI Pilot Grant Program Announcement: CU Boulder Informational Meeting for Funding Applicants

Please join the CU Boulder Research & Innovation Office in collaboration with the Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CCTSI) for an overview of the CCTSI Pilot Grant Programs to learn more about the opportunities to fund your research – including general translational studies, child and maternal health focus, and novel methods (assay) development.

We will discuss the main goal of each CCTSI Pilot Grant Program, eligibility criteria, what’s new in the 2022 CCTSI Pilot Grant Request for Application (RFAs), major review criteria, and upcoming submission deadlines. This will be an interactive discussion with Pilot Grant Program Directors to answer all scientific and administrative questions you may have.

  • Colorado (CO-Pilot) Grant Program: Provides one-year pilot awards to junior faculty and fellows encouraging independent cross-disciplinary and collaborative research in clinical and translational science. Mandatory Intent to Apply Form (LOI) due Mon 9/6/21 at 5 pm
  • Child and Maternal Health (CMH-Pilot) Grant Program: Provides one-year pilot awards for research in children, pregnant women and mothers to improve child and maternal health and prevent diseases that begin in early life. Each proposal must be registered separately using the online Intent to Apply Form (LOI). Applicants provide basic information about the proposal, key personnel contact information, and research topics. The information on this form is non-binding, and applicants may make minor modifications to this information on the online Application Form. Applicants may submit more than one Intent to Apply Form (LOI), but only one Application Form across the CO-Pilot, CMH-Pilot, and CE-Pilot Grant Programs. This limitation does not apply to the TM-Pilot Grant Program. Active award period is May 202

The 2022 CCTSI Pilot Grant Program will cumulatively provide approximately $700,000 in awards for pilot projects to investigators from CCTSI Affiliated Institutions.
