Marti Stewart

Marti Stewart, originally from Boise, Idaho, has lived in Colorado and worked at CU Boulder for the past 10 years. She is thrilled to be part of the dynamic team in the College of Music.

She is fluent and biliterate in English and Spanish and holds a master’s degree in bilingual education. She taught in Guadalajara, Mexico for 3.5 years and was profoundly shaped by her experiences there.

Stewart and her wife own the Walnut Café and the South Side Walnut Café where they are devoted to the Boulder community and happy to serve stacks of gluten-free pancakes.

In addition, Stewart is a professional psychic medium and gives weekly readings when time permits. She is also an avid gardener and enjoys growing an abundant garden each year. Her daughter, a current Buff, and her four small dogs bring her great joy.
