Johann Sebastian Bach was fond of performing his own solo violin music on a solo keyboard instrument, but most of his own transcriptions are lost. New faculty member and Eugene D. Eaton, Jr. Chair in Baroque Music Performance Robert Hill has reconstructed some of these transcriptions and will perform them on harpsichord in his debut solo recital at CU Boulder.
The concert is Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Grusin Music Hall. It is free and open to the public.
