On Tuesday, Oct. 11, pianist Alejandro Cremaschi presents "Ginastera's 100th," a celebration of the 100th birthday of Argentine composer Alberto Ginastera.

Ginastera captured the essence of the Argentine gaucho in a highly original and exhilarating musical style. Our celebration includes his chamber music, song cycles and solo piano works. Alejandro Cremaschi is joined by Abigail Nims, mezzo soprano; Matthew Chellis, tenor; and David Requiro, cello.

"Ginastera's 100th" is Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in Grusin Music Hall. The concert is free and open to the public. If you can't be here, watch live on the Livestreamed Performances page.
