Cleaning & Community Time

  Meet Rosie Compean! Rosie is our powerhouse Business Operations Manage and our point person for cleaning and moving activities. It may have been a while since you were last in your office. Rosie and her team have been busy finishing the HR remodel and prepping for what's next for our space. This means that you may find furniture has been removed from your office and belongings placed in boxes. 

To Do: 

  • Bring your office Key and turn it in. 
  • Bring your Buff OneCard to test on new security doors.

Task 1 - Clean surfaces in office space and remove personal belongings 

  • Shredding bins will be provided. This is a great time to reduce the amount of paper you have on hand. 
  • Cleaning supplies will be available to wipe down surfaces. Don't forget things such as door knobs, blinds and window sills. 

Check in with Rosie on the following: 

Task 2 - Clean out space of unneeded furniture

  • There will be signs on the or near the door with instructions on what each room needs done

Task 3 - Assist in moving furniture to future office spaces and restore conference rooms

  • There will be signs on the or near the door with instructions on what each room needs done

When you are not actively cleaning your office, we recommend: 

  • Check out all conference rooms and new shared office spaces
  • Ask if others need help
  • Pick up your lanyard--stop at the front desk to pick it up
  • Introduce yourself to a new employee
  • Catch up with colleagues​

  1. Is the building safe to be in? What is the air/water quality like? 
  2. What should I wear? 
    • Please dress comfortably and casually for the day. We will be both outside and inside. Since we know offices haven't been dusted in at least a year (let's be honest though, it's been way longer than that) you can expect to get a little dirty along the way. Also, don't forget ARC can get quite warm in the summer months even with the AC running. 
  3. Do I have to wear a mask? 
    • Boulder County is in Level Clear. Most COVID-19 restrictions are no longer required county-wide however, Boulder County’s local mask order is still in effect. Facial coverings will continue to be required in indoor spaces on campus and on Buff buses through at least June 30, 2021. 
  4. Will you provide cleaning supplies and hand sanitzer? 
    • Yes.
  5. Can I come in before June 24th to start cleaning out my office? 
    • We reserved this day to get the majority of cleaning done. However, if you have an exceptional amount of paperwork to go through, large personal items to make arrangements for or are unable to attend on June 24 then please check with your supervisor (cc Rosie) on when it would be best to go in.
