Faculty, come connect (or reconnect!) with the Graduate Inclusive Mentoring Community on Nov. 20
Faculty, do you want to make new friends, reduce job stress and master advising and mentoring? If so, the Graduate Inclusive Mentoring Community, a Graduate School initiative, is the perfect place for you.
Come connect (or reconnect!) with the GIMC at our Happy Hour in the British and Irish Studies room on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 4–5:30 p.m. The event is free to attend, but registration is required.
At this event you will discover your unique advising and mentoring style—and gain skills to immediately use those insights to strengthen your advisor/advisee communication.
Then join us again in the Spring for a series of trainings that will allow you to master conflict resolution, develop personalized and effective advising tools and become an expert in intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. These offerings are in addition to our monthly mentor training sessions based on the CIMER entering mentoring curriculum.
Sign up today to join our community of dedicated mentors & help your students become the best scholars they can be.
