May 2
Deadline for spring 2025 doctoral graduates to update diploma name or address in Buff Portal.
May 30
Deadline for spring 2025 master's graduates to update diploma name or address in Buff Portal.
Summer 2025 Graduation
May 19
Preferred Deadline for master's students to submit to the Graduate School a Candidacy Application for an Advanced Degree. Applications follow a workflow process and must be approved by the academic department before they are directed to the Graduate School.

Are you working on your dissertation, thesis, publications, etc.? Join us for the May Writing Retreat—a four-day, in-person event designed to give you the time, space and support to focus on your academic writing. Coffee and light breakfast provided for those who RSVP (space is limited).
Grad+ Summer Series: Diagnosis: Burnout
May 27–29, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Zoom
Burnout isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a real, clinical diagnosis that’s sweeping through campuses nationwide. Summer is right around the corner and though we could all use a long repose, most of us still have to keep researching, writing and producing meaningful work during these “uncertain times.”
