During fall 2023, faculty fellows will attend a seminar and engage with a cohort of colleagues around teaching topics such as course design, active learning, inclusive teaching, teaching assessments, teaching with technology and other topics of interest. At the end of this seminar, fellows will propose a project to actively address identified teaching and learning challenge(s).

For spring 2024, fellows will carry out their proposed projects, engage their departments where appropriate and share the results with their departments and the wider campus community. Additionally, ASSETT and CTL staff are available to support fellows’ work on projects. Fellowships require a 1-year commitment and include a $3000 professional development award. A cohort of up to 12 Fellows will be invited to participate. The seminar will consist of 8 meetings. The schedule will be determined by participants' availability and preference for in-person or synchronously on Zoom.

Tenure-track faculty, instructor ranks and lecturers are eligible. To apply, complete the online application and ask your department chair to submit a short email. The call for participation is open through May 15, 2023.

Questions about the program or the application process may be directed to Kirk Ambrose, CTL Founding Director or Amanda McAndrew, ASSETT Manager and Faculty Services Portfolio Manager.
