Sylvie Burnet-Jones

Sylvie has worked in the Office of International Education at CU for many years in various capacities and is now Director of Education Abroad. 

Sylvie first came to the U.S. as a graduate exchange student at CU Boulder and returned to the university a few years later as lead education abroad advisor. Previously, she served as resident director for CU's program at her alma mater, the Université Savoie-Mont Blanc in Chambéry, France, an experience that sparked her interest in international education as a career. She studied/lived abroad in the U.S., England and Germany. Since then, she has traveled to many more European countries and various countries in Africa, Asia, and the Americas. When she is not working or traveling, Sylvie is a proud member of CU's International Education (unofficial) gardening team.
