Jan. 30, 2024 • CU Boulder condemns tactics designed to intimidate and threaten our students, faculty and staff. Outside groups publicly attempting to shame CU Boulder community members is not a productive way to address the difficult conversations facing our society in a respectful and civil manner.

CU Boulder condemns racism, violence and any acts that fail to live up to our core values. There are dedicated resources available for anyone affiliated with CU Boulder who is experiencing discrimination, harassment or bias.

   Financial support available to international students facing global crises

For international students in need of financial support during times of global crises, International Student and Scholar Services can offer help.

This guide will help students, faculty, staff and the broader community better understand how the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance enforces campus policies while respecting an individual’s right to free expression.

In response to requests, faculty experts will discuss a range of topics related to Arab-Israeli conflict. The CU Boulder forum will follow an informal format and is open to the public.

People are increasingly turning to videos on TikTok, Instagram and other social media to stay up to date on the Israel-Hamas war. But CU Boulder media studies expert Sandra Ristovska gives her take, warning you can't always trust what you see, and sharing without confirming can be dangerous.

Ongoing violence, war and the media coverage that ensues can leave many of us feeling overwhelmed. Here are some tips to help you talk to your children about war and how it may be affecting them.

Support and community

The university has reached out directly to members of the community who are likely to be closely impacted. If students, faculty or staff need further assistance, there are many support and counseling services available year-round on campus.


 

CAPS offers confidential, on-campus mental health and psychiatric services for a variety of concerns. They offer mental health-related workshops, group therapy, brief individual therapy, psychiatry and 24/7 crisis services.

FSAP is dedicated to serving the emotional and psychological needs of the campus community, specifically CU Boulder employees. All FSAP staff are trained as generalist counselors and are equipped to deal with a wide range of personal and work-related issues.
