Interested doctoral students must register by Sept. 25 to participate in the Three Minute Thesis event—an academic competition that challenges students to summarize their theses in three minutes for a general audience and panel of judges.

Calling for nominations: Chancellor’s Employee of the Year Awards
Chancellor Philip DiStefano invites nominations for the 2023 Chancellor’s Employee of the Year Awards, which include a $2,000 prize and a commemorative gift. Nominations are due by Oct. 4.
Volunteer with the Basic Needs Center this semester
The Basic Needs Center is recruiting volunteers to support the Buff Pantry, the Swipe It Forward program and upcoming mobile food pantries. Volunteer opportunities are open to students, faculty and staff. Individual volunteers and groups are welcome.
