Faculty-Staff Edition - Feb. 20, 2023

Earlier today, the University of Colorado Boulder Police Department along with multiple Boulder County agencies assisted the Boulder Police Department in response to shots fired at the Millennium Harvest House Boulder, a hotel at 1345 28th St. There is no threat to the CU Boulder campus. Expect a continued police presence at the hotel and read the CU Advisory for more information about the response.

A new office charter is an agreement between CU Boulder and the Ombuds Office codifying the ombuds roles and responsibilities, as well as establishing a shared understanding of how the office functions within the university.

At the Colorado Board of Education February meeting, all of the School of Education’s teacher preparation programs were lauded and received sweeping reauthorization. CU Boulder was praised for its “true partnerships” with districts and reading instruction, an area where very few other university programs have earned reauthorization on the first pass.
