From the Provost: Reframing the campus strategic imperatives
Campus leadership has begun the conversation of reframing the three campus touchstones (student success, reputation and alternate revenue) into a series of ideas that more holistically describe our goals as a university. Provost Moore updates the campus on some of the activities underway to support these goals.
College of Music marks 100th anniversary with $50 million music+ campaign
No one knows better than Grace Burns just what a difference a vision and a financial boost can mean to a young musician. Burns was one of 14 students to perform at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall in November. In support of opportunities like this, and in celebration of its 100th birthday, the college is embarking on its first major fundraising campaign called music+.
$5 million in grants make master's degrees possible for 90 teachers of diverse learners
Two U.S. Department of Education grants will enable CU Boulder's BUENO Center to offer 90 Colorado teachers free or sharply discounted master's degrees with an emphasis on teaching English learners and students with disabilities.
Deadline approaching for 2017 Hazel Barnes Prize nominations
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2017 Hazel Barnes Prize, one of the most prestigious awards at the University of Colorado Boulder, which focuses on the enriching relationship between teaching and research. The nomination deadline has been extended to Friday, March 3.

The CU Boulder Faculty and Staff Assistance Program has teamed up with University of Colorado Hospital and Elevations Credit Union to bring The Pink Life Saver mobile mammography coach to the Boulder campus each month.
