The Pink Life Saver mobile mammography busThe CU Boulder Faculty and Staff Assistance Program has teamed up with University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) and Elevations Credit Union to bring The Pink Life Saver mobile mammography coach to the Boulder campus each month.

Starting Feb. 16, The UCH Pink Life Saver will be on CU Boulder East Campus, south of Academic Research Center, on the third Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Except in April: The bus will be here Thursday, April 13.)

The mission of The Pink Life Saver and the University of Colorado Hospital Breast Imaging Department at the Diane O’Connor-Thompson Breast Center is to provide convenient and easy access for women to have their annual mammogram. Services include:

  • Hologic Dimensions 3-D Tomosynthesis mammography equipment fully ACR- and MQSA-accredited,
  • ARRT-registered mammography technologist, and
  • Computer-aided detection (CAD) that provides a “second look” of images.
