The CU Alternative Breaks program sends teams of college students to engage in meaningful service during their breaks from school. Get the opportunity to explore the U.S. while making a difference through service, reflecting upon your experience and creating long-lasting connections with others. Apply by Feb. 12 for the spring break trip March 25–April 2. 

 Invite your family to Family Day

Invite your family to Family Day on March 4. Mingle with other Buff families, and cheer on the Buffs basketball team as they take on Utah! Basketball game tickets can be purchased for a discounted rate. 

 Apply to be a Journey Leader

Help welcome a new class of Buffs to campus! As a Journey Leader, you will gain valuable leadership experience while meeting new people and getting involved on campus. Apply by Feb. 10.

 Register for intramural sports

Intramural sports provide an opportunity to compete in a variety of sports and activities. It's a chance to get connected on campus and meet other students, and a fun way to stay active.

Whether you are new to a sport or experienced, whether or not you join with a team of friends or register as a free agent, there's a place for you. By purchasing a sports pass, you can play in any leagues you'd like throughout the semester, including tournaments. Session I registration is Jan. 25–Feb. 9.

 Donate meal swipes during Swipe It Forward

Donate a meal swipe to a fellow Buff in need! Between Jan. 31 and Feb. 2, anyone with a meal plan can donate up to two meal swipes. Just tell the cashier that you would like to donate at participating dining locations.

 Apply for a GPSG travel grant

Applications are now open for the Graduate and Professional Student Government's spring 2023 travel grants, covering travel commencing between Jan. 1 and May 31, 2023. All graduate and professional students in all programs and colleges are eligible, including international students. Apply now through Feb. 3.

 Apply for UROP funding

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) invites applications for student grants in all fields of study/majors. Students  planning projects in summer 2023 and/or academic year 2023-24 must apply by Feb. 17. Learn more.
