All graduate students are invited to enroll in weekly Zoom seminars to set goals and maintain good writing habits, as well as an eight-week series focused on exploring careers outside of academia.

8-week seminar for students exploring careers outside of academia

Join Cat Diebel-Wilson from Career Services for this comprehensive eight-week seminar series focused on exploring careers outside of academia. Topics cover finding job postings, drafting a résumé and writing a cover letter. Learn how to network and ask for professional references; and how to interview and negotiate to land your job.

This seminar is for first- and second-year master’s students and doctoral students in their second and subsequent years. It’s open to all graduate students interested in keeping their career options open. Email questions to diebel-wilson@colorado.edu.
