Getting Started Seminar 

The goal of the getting started seminars is to build effective tool sets for improving time management skills, work efficiency and productivity. This seminar is designed for students in their first and second years of graduate school.

Writing Accountability Seminar 

With weekly check-ins, long term and short term goal setting, and a clear understanding of how values should drive goals and habit structures, students will find that accountability seminars provide a solid foundation which should reduce stress and help them find their place in the graduate community.

Write-In

Our weekly dissertation write-ins have a professional writing consultant available on demand at the site. When students are having trouble making dedicated time for their writing, they can join other graduate students in staying focused and accountable on graduate writing goals by providing the quiet time and space devoted to writing.

Winter Writing Retreat

Dedicate four days to your writing before the semester begins. This writing retreat will keep you accountable on your writing goals, provide one-on-one feedback from the Writing Center consultants, and allow for peer review feedback. Food is provided.
