Fulfill your language learning resolution for 2020! The Anderson Language and Technology Center (ALTEC) offers evening language classes in French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Thai. Current CU faculty, staff and students receive a radically reduced rate.

New for spring 2020, we’ve added a French Beginning I and Spanish Beginning I class for those new to these languages. Note that Spanish Beginning I has a different meeting schedule from our other sessions.

These non-credit classes are perfect for busy adults with a desire to learn new languages and cultures for use in their profession, social life and travels—read what our past students have to say. Learning languages is the ultimate brain training, with an added bonus of social and cultural enrichment!

Hurry, spring 2020 classes start Jan. 27. Visit ALTEC online to view the class schedule, frequently asked questions and to register. Classes are filling up quickly—enroll today!

Curious about what else ALTEC has to offer?

Swing by the HIVE in Hellems 159 (an open collaboration space) to borrow language resources including comics and DVDs, guess the language spoken in our exhibit featuring students’ study abroad photography, expand your horizons at one of our cultural events, and join a free conversation table to practice your language skills. Additionally, you can sign up at our language corner if you are interested in finding or being a conversation partner.

Don’t forget to share this learning opportunity with your friends!
