Chancellor's awards available for excellence in STEM education
The Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in STEM Education were established in 2009 by the Center for STEM Learning to support faculty and graduate student engagement in innovative research on student learning and implementation of research-based STEM education programs and initiatives.

Two types of awards are available:
- Up to $10,000 faculty/staff awards
- Part-time graduate awards, 25 percent in matching funds for a graduate research assistant line during the academic year and summer, of up to one year
Applications may propose support for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education projects in the early stages, for the coordination of existing projects or to seed efforts that can continue beyond the funding period.
