CU-SIS Access
New CU Boulder employees who need access to any CU-SIS component must complete the required training and then submit a request to the CU-SIS Campus Security Coordinator using the appropriate method.
Step 1: Complete the Training Courses
Faculty and staff seeking CU-SIS access must complete two online Skillsoft courses:
- CU: FERPA for CU-SIS Access. This course will enhance your understanding of the confidentiality protections that federal law affords the records and information that the university maintains about our students. A passing score is required every three years to maintain your CU-SIS systems access.
- CU: Introduction to CU-SIS - Campus Solutions. Learn about the integrated applications that make up CU-SIS, and how to navigate the systems and search for information. A score of 70% or higher is required to receive completion credit.
How to Access Skillsoft
- Log in to MyCUInfo.
- Click on the CU Resources tab, if applicable.
- In the navigation menu (upper right), click the menu icon (NavBar).
- Click "CU Resources," then "Training."
- Click the Skillsoft tile.
- In the "Search Content" field, type the course title and either hit the Enter/Return key or click the magnifying glass icon.
- Locate the course and click "Launch."
- The course will open in a pop-up window.
Step 2: Submit a CU-SIS Access Request Form
Once you've completed both required training courses, please complete the CU-SIS access request form:
Go to the CU Student Integrated Systems (CU-SIS) Access page.
Under "How do I request access?" in the CU-SIS Campus Solutions (CS) section, click the link to open the form.
You will receive an email notification once the form has been successfully submitted and another email with login information once access has been provisioned. Depending on the level of access needed, requests may require up to 10 business days for review and processing.
