Spring 2026 Open Shop Hours

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12:30-4:00 p.m.

The Physics Trades Teaching Lab is a machine shop available to CU students, research staff and faculty who have taken our shop safety training course. The shop is available for use during the academic year when our professional staff is present, and in limited capacity during summer and winter breaks. Priority is given to physics students, researchers, and faculty.  

Finding Us

The Physics Trades Teaching Lab is located in the C-wing on the main level of Duane Physics Building, Room C1B29. Tours of our facility are available during our open shop hours.
