Have other team members lead meetings
Having others lead a meeting is a great way to increase involvement and investment in the outcome.
Use the knowledge in the room
As employees engage in learning throughout the year, schedule each employee to do a teach-back to the rest of the team in 2 minutes or less about what they learned.
Delegate projects and set team members up for success
Is there a new project that an employee can take on as an additional learning opportunity? First check that the employee is interested in the project and make sure it's a stretch project that adds value to the employee's experience.
Learn something new with your team
Invite a guest speaker to a meeting, read a book as a team or have each team member answer questions to help build trust. Questions might include: What's something new you learned this week? What are you really proud of in the past week? What's something you're looking forward to in the next month?
