Scott AdlerDear winter graduates:

I’d like to express my sincere congratulations to those receiving master’s and doctoral degrees this month.

Earning an advanced degree is a worthy and challenging pursuit, and there’s no doubt that you’ve worked extremely hard for this outstanding academic achievement. We recognize that you have completed your degree requirements during a particularly challenging time, and we commend your perseverance and grit in facing many unexpected obstacles this year. You are an integral part of this exceptional and resilient academic community, and we are honored to count you among our esteemed graduates.

As your transition from being a Grad Buff to becoming a Forever Buff, my hope is that you will maintain your academic curiosity and use your newly honed skills as you pursue even greater accomplishments in the future.

On behalf of the Graduate School and the university, thank you for your contributions to our campus community and a hearty congratulations on your new degree.

Best wishes,

E. Scott Adler
