Use the table below to quickly find academic support and tutoring resources both within the College of Engineering and Applied Science and within other Colleges that have courses many Engineering students enroll in.
The following courses are very common amongst the majority of 1st year Engineering students. Listed is the course support available for these classes (we have noted the fee based support with an asterisk):

The Aerospace Study Hall is a dedicated space in the Aerospace Engineering Sciences Building which allows you to get course-specific TA/TF assistance for any 1000, 2000, or 3000-level ASEN course. The AES Study Hall is also a collaborative space intended to help students meet other Aerospace Engineering Sciences students.
The Department of Applied Mathematics provides the following resources for students enrolled in APPM courses:
Teaching staff and tutors are available right in Will Vill to assist in your applied math and computer science homework and questions! The Academic Help Room in Will Vill East (room E103, right across from the front desk) hosts hours each week to assist you:
Applied Math: Sundays through Thursdays, 5-9 p.m.
The Academic Help Room at the Engineering Center provides tutoring for APPM 1235, 1340, 1350, 1360, 2350, and 2360 in ECCR 252, 244, 239, and 235 and is usually open from 9:00am-5:00pm. Please check your Canvas course for specific hours.
The APPM department maintains a paid Applied Math tutor list for those who are interested in private tutoring.
Exam archives are available for practice.
Practice Exam Sessions are held for APPM in Williams Village and the Engineering Center and vary by semester.
The BMES Peer Mentorship Program is an academic year long program that partners upperclassmen with first and second-year students to strengthen community among current students and smooth the transition for new students.

The department also hosts volunteering and social events throughout the semester for students involved in the mentoring program.

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering provides the following resources for students enrolled in these courses:
LearnChemE: is a self-paced online learning platform created for engineering students and includes simulations, screencasts, exam review, virtual labs, student and instructor resources.
A Peer Mentoring Program which partners seniors with first and second-year students to support students in a variety areas to apply both in and out of the classroom.
- CHEN 1201 facilitated midterm study groups are hosted in Williams Village by the Engineering academic success team.

The ATLAS Institute now offers a full spectrum of interdisciplinary academic programs through the CEAS.
Academic Support for all ATLAS classes is available in-person and online.

IDE Peer Mentoring Program
- Available to answer all IDE questions.
- Help with navigating the IDE major.
- Meet and and hang out with current IDE students.

Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam Information Session and Resources
- FE Exam information session: The IDE program has developed an information session for the FE. This takes place in the spring semester, and it is geared toward Junior IDE students, but all are welcome. This informal session, guided by people who have taken the FE themselves, discusses logistics, what to expect on the test, and has time for questions.
- Canvas Page: The IDE program has created a Canvas site to help students prepare for the FE exam. This site goes through logistics and includes review problems for the test.

The Department of Mathematics offers two types of support:
1. The Mathematics Academic Resource Center (MARC): a free service provided by the Department of Mathematics that offers students additional support for their CU Mathematics courses.
This private tutor list is provided by the department to support MCEN courses.
The Department of Physics provides resources for General Physics and include the following:
- Physics Help Room: open, free and no appointment is needed.
- For all students in PHYS 1110, 1120, 2010, 2020.
- Staffed by the professors, TAs, and LAs that are teaching these courses.
- View the Physics Help Room site to find staff hours, which are a mixture of in-person (Duane G2B90) and remote (Zoom).
Private fee-based Tutoring: is an updated list of physics juniors, seniors, grad students, and alumni who are offering private tutoring for a fee.
- Physics 1110 practice exams are hosted in Williams Village by the Engineering Academic Success Team.
