Taylor Bickford is passionate about helping students build confidence, find connection, and achieve their goals. As the Program Director of Academic Success Initiatives and Coaching, Taylor leads efforts that strengthen student persistence and belonging through collaborative, data-informed programs.
Before joining CU Boulder, Taylor served as the Electrical Engineering Department Manager and Academic Advising Coordinator at Colorado School of Mines, where they focused on proactive student success initiatives and improving processes and programs that supported departmental and university-wide operations. They also coordinated the Supplemental Instruction program at Metropolitan State University of Denver and provided academic, career, and transfer advising at Florida SouthWestern State College.
Taylor holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida Gulf Coast University and a B.S. in Psychology and Social Science from Florida State University. Outside of work, they spend most of their time with their partner, Sebastian, and their two young children. She enjoys terrible/amazing puns, sewing (and learning embroidery), and spending time outside!
