she, her, hers
Nora is from Arvada, Colorado and graduated from CU Boulder with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She has worked at The Nature Conservancy, The Butterfly Pavilion and other non-profit and education organizations. She holds an M.S. in biology and spent the last few years in Kansas teaching and advising biology and is thrilled to be back home and at her alma matter! She is an experienced researcher having focused on pedagogy, herpetology (amphibians and reptiles), conservation genetics, and evolutionary projects. Nora loves connecting with students, helping them explore research opportunities and interests, and find strategies to be successful in their time as undergrads.
When she's not at work, Nora is outside and active as much as possible: hiking, trail running, cycling, swimming and doing yoga. She loves trying new restaurants, strolling around with an iced coffee, birdwatching, and knitting. She has two cats and wants you to tell your pets she says hi.
