Kate Feldman
Assistant Director of Advising, Psychology and Neuroscience

she, her, hers

Kate Feldman joined the Academic Advising Center in November 2015. Before coming to CU-Boulder, she lived in New York City for 7 years, and most recently worked as the Assistant Director of Student Affairs with the Executive MBA programs at Columbia Business School. She is excited to be working with undergraduate students, and to be a new resident of the great state of Colorado!

Kate graduated with a BA in History from Princeton University (after starting out as a pre-med Biology major), and began her career at a small historic preservation firm in Washington, DC before taking a turn toward higher education. She went back to school for a post-baccalaureate certificate in psychology, and then earned her master’s degree in Psychological Counseling from Teacher’s College at Columbia University, with a focus in School Counseling.

Outside of work, Kate is enjoying the transition from big city life to the mountains, especially hiking and camping. She also loves to travel, is trying to learn how to cook (with mixed results so far), and is often happiest with a new book and an empty afternoon to read it.
