she, her, hers

Originally from Colorado, Amber earned a B.A. in Political Science from Colorado State University where she then worked in Orientation & Transition Programs before pursuing a M.S. in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University. During her time at Western Illinois, Amber worked with Campus Recreation and Alumni Programs. She then transitioned to supporting student success and building individual connections with students in Advising at Texas State University. Her partner’s military career brought Amber and her family to California where she further developed her passion for advising students and supporting advisors in their own growth. Amber returned to her home state of Colorado to be closer to family in 2018 and has been at CU since then!

In her free time, Amber loves to read, listen to true crime podcasts, care for her plants and spend time with her husband, two kids and all of their animals.
