Research Statement
Your Research Statement (Personal Statement) should be tailored to the CU Department of Anthropology Graduate Program. It should identify the faculty members you want to work with and the way the work you hope to do fits into the research interests and expertise of the subdiscipline within the department that you are interested in. This means it should outline a research problem or project, and the approach that you will take, to that problem/project. This statement is also your opportunity for you to share how your personal and professional experiences have helped shape your academic journey, interest in pursuing a graduate degree in anthropology, and vision for the future. Please be concise and submit a statement that is two to three pages at most.
