Felicia Lee

Felicia Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Brigham Young University (2013) and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her research examines the intersection of religious belief systems and environmental response, focusing on how populations interpret and respond to climate change through their cultural frameworks. Specifically, her work investigates how Mormon concepts of stewardship shape perspectives on pressing water challenges in the American West, including the declining Great Salt Lake and overallocation of the Colorado River system. She is interested in how religious and cultural frameworks inform local understandings of environmental crisis, resource management, and collective responsibility in the region. Felicia is a member of the Great Salt Lake Social Science Network (GSL-SSN), through which she contributes to collaborative research on the social dimensions of the Great Salt Lake's decline. Her advisor is Dr. Jerry Jacka.
