Spring 2024 Graduation Program

Graduating students received several prompts in March to complete a survey regarding ceremony attendance and guest count. The deadline to sign up to attend Commencement was the start of spring break. (If you are a graduating student who has not taken the survey, and you wish to walk during APPM's ceremony, please directly email after taking this survey, to inform organizers of your intention to participate).

We look forward to once again celebrating our graduates! This year, light refreshments and beverages will be served.

Accessibility: The University of Colorado Boulder is committed to providing equal access to individuals with disabilities. If you are planning to attend this event and require accommodations, please contact ADA Compliance at or by phone (303) 492-9725.

Commencement Parking and TransportationAll campus parking lots will be open on a “space available” basis for public parking during commencement.  Parking on-campus, including at parking meters and pay station lots, is FREE on the day of Commencement and on all Recognition Ceremony Days. Courtesy shuttle bus service (Buff Buses) will be available on May 9th to transport guests between the university commencement ceremony and Department Recognition Ceremonies. Please note that courtesy shuttles with handicapped accessibility services are only stopping at specific stops around campus, as indicated on the Spring Commencement ceremony website and Parking & Transportation website

University Commencement Ceremony Thursday, May 9 at 8:30am MDT: The university commencement ceremony will be held in-person at Folsom Field stadium.

Important Folsom Field Information: The stadium gates will open at 7:00 a.m. the morning of the ceremony. Guests should be in their seats by 8:15 a.m. to watch the student processional into the stadium. Early arrival guarantees the best seating. No tickets are required for the ceremony. The event will be held in Folsom Field regardless of the weather.  Colorado weather in May can be unpredictable. We therefore encourage guests to watch the weather forecast so that they may plan and dress accordingly. In the event of inclement weather,  the ceremony will be held in abbreviated form.

Folsom Field Clear Bag Policy: Folsom Field complies with all TSA and Homeland Security prohibited items lists.  The only bags allowed are bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” or one gallon (or smaller) clear plastic Ziploc/freezer bag.  No other bags are permitted at all; includes backpacks, diaper bags and other similar bags.  More details on Folsom Field Policies are available on Athletics website.
