Contracts & Grants

OCG (Sponsored Research)

The Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG) is the Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR) and administrator for all externally funded sponsored research on the CU-Boulder campus, operating under the direction of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research.

The scope of OCG's work begins with proposals through closeout of awards. OCG's Proposal Analysts review and approve the submission of sponsored projects proposals. The Grant and Contract Officers review, negotiate, and accept all award agreements and assist with overall award management, including approving and processing modifications and revisions. Subcontract Officers prepare and manage subcontracts, and our Compliance Officers help manage government property and ensuring timely reporting and closeout of awards.
