SAP Standards for Nondegree Students
Nondegree students enrolled through the Division of Continuing Education and Professional Studies must adhere to a separate set of academic standards:
- Enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours each semester.
- Complete all courses attempted. You will not eligible for future financial aid as a nondegree student if you receive an I, F or W for any course during the semester.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.00 (cumulative and semester)
- Eligibility for aid is limited to a maximum of 3 consecutive terms (i.e. fall, spring, summer)
Nondegree Students & Financial Aid
Students not currently admitted to a degree program at the university are classified as “nondegree" students. Typically you are not eligible for financial aid as a nondegree student; however, a student can qualify for federal loans if he or she meets certain requirements.
