We want to protect you and your academic (including financial) records. This means added security and knowing the difference between each kind:
FERPA - enables the university to talk to your parents about your educational records. (More info, including instructions). Parents may be asked for a FERPA Password once this consent has been completed.
CU Guest Access - enables your parents to access some of your educational records online. (More info, including instructions).
Security Passphrase - allows students to speak to CU business offices (registrar, financial aid, bursar) on the phone about their student records (More info, including instructions).
Authorized Payer - enables your parents to access and pay your university bill. (More info, including instructions).
Title IV or "Authorize Aid" - allows us to apply financial aid to all charges on your university bill. (More info, including instructions).
