At its final meeting of the semester, the Boulder Faculty Assembly discussed the new budget model and the campus curriculum committee with Provost Russell Moore; elected Shelly Miller as its new chair; and honored three faculty members for 50 years’ of service.
Kōnane Bay’s research group seeks to advance engineered living materials research
CU Boulder's growing faculty expertise in soft materials was a huge draw for Assistant Professor Kōnane Bay. A Native Hawaiian, Bay's research is inspired by the innate sustainability of the huli kalo—a traditional Hawaiian food staple—to develop sustainable polymeric materials.
