How scientists know the coronavirus spreads mostly through the air
There is strong evidence that the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes COVID-19, is predominantly transmitted through the air, and therefore public health measures that fail to treat the virus as predominantly airborne leave people unprotected and allow the virus to spread.

Engineers adjust plans to support Colorado town
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, sophomore Sophie Woods and the Engineers Without Borders Puerto Rico team faced difficulties due to the inability to travel. They made the difficult decision to suspend the Puerto Rico project and began searching for creative opportunities to bring engineering solutions to under-resourced communities.
