The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program is pleased to announce the recipients of this year's Outstanding Mentor Awards, which recognize CU Boulder faculty for their role mentoring undergraduate research and creative projects.
The global shortage of semiconductors—the computer chips that products such as smartphones, laptops, cars and even washing machines rely on—are motivating engineers to improve the inspection of the silicon wafers from which semiconductors are fabricated. To help, students have built a silicon wafer center-finding improvement device.
The CU football team is hosting a blood stem cell donor registry drive with Be the Match on Wednesday, April 27, from 2 to 6 p.m. in Balch Fieldhouse. It only takes a few minutes to sign up and provide a cheek swab.
