Distinguished Professor Mark Ablowitz wins 2022 Hazel Barnes Prize
Distinguished Professor Mark Ablowitz, known for prolific contributions to applied mathematics, teaching and mentorship, is receiving the Hazel Barnes Prize—the most distinguished award a faculty member can receive from CU Boulder.

The class of 2022 celebrated its last full week at CU Boulder with Grad Appreciation Days, including free burritos, photo ops, Grad Bash, cap decorating and more.

In a unanimous decision, the Board of Regents on April 27 elected Todd Saliman to the position of University of Colorado president. In a follow-up message, the board outlined Saliman's extensive experience and commitment. Also, Chancellor Philip DiStefano joined the other CU chancellors in a congratulatory message.
