OIEC information sessions on Colorado pregnancy legislation
The Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) has scheduled information sessions to educate CU Boulder employees on the law requiring Colorado employers to assess potential accommodations for conditions related to pregnancy and childbirth.

On Jan. 25 we held a trio of large student- and faculty-hosted events. The university has had a long and successful tradition of hosting a wide variety of events and speakers who cross a broad spectrum of political, social and philosophical viewpoints. This is an example of how Buffs build community and meet the principles embodied in our Colorado Creed.

CU on the Weekend begins Feb. 11
Some of the campus's most dynamic faculty members will address topics ranging from animal evolution to wrongful convictions, Mayan life and Chinese and American views on the media during this semester's CU on the Weekend, a free lecture series.
Surprising solar flares: Studying the sun as a star
In this Feb. 1 talk, LASP Solar Scientist and Associate Director Tom Woods will discuss our understanding of solar flares and coronal mass ejections, based on more than two decades of observations of the sun as a star.

Run, Hide, Fight: CUPD to hold active harmer response classes
On Feb. 8, CUPD will hold four active harmer response sessions for students, faculty and staff. This course is designed as a reactive training on how to respond if an incident occurs, regardless of whether it occurs on campus or elsewhere.
